It’s no secret that automakers often develop a car with the same underpinnings but change the specs and tweak the design for different world markets. Such is the case with Nissan’s Rogue and Qashqai, and all the other names it’s known for. Both debuted in 2014 with an all-new design on different continents. While the Rogue is sold in North America people in the Eastern part of the world are familiar with the Qashqai name. Despite looking alike and sharing the same platform the twins target different buyers; the Qashqai is the sportier of the two while the Rogue looks more prepared for the off-road. Is North America missing out on the cooler Nissan or is the Rogue just right for our wants and needs?
