First came the announcement about an all-new, full-size SUV with technological and safety advancements. Chatter and speculation ensued. Then came a photo of a headlight to tease and fill us with joy. Chatter and speculation continued. Now, detailed photos have ‘leaked’ online before the official debut only a few weeks away. Speculation subsides, chatter gets louder.
Volvo is doing a great job building the hype surrounding its flagship model before the official reveal. Photos of the much anticipated Volvo XC90 have appeared giving the Internet world a glimpse of its exterior design. The new SUV sits lower to the ground and has bigger wheel wells than its predecessor. The hood is longer and parallel with the ground, while the windshield has less of a slope making the XC90 look boxier, perhaps going back to it’s roots. The rear is edgier with refined vertical taillights that are undeniably Volvo.
