Ford Focus Sedan – 2015-Present
Ford Focus Sedan History
Ford Focus debuted in 1998 as a hatchback and sedan replacing the Ford Escort in North America. Being almost identical to the European version it was a hit, winning the 1999 Car of the Year award. The second generation Focus was completely redesigned specifically for the NA market. Europe and other countries continued to get a refreshed version of the popular first generation. Luckily Ford’s global car platform brought back the sedan and hatchback in 2012, which is available world-wide.
