2016 Infiniti Q60 Coupe Concept vs. 2015 Infiniti Q60
Infiniti has always had some of the best-looking headlights in the industry. And the new 2016 Infiniti Q60 Coupe Concept doesn’t disappoint. The headlights are designed to mimic human eyes that are focused, sly and confident, making you feel a bit inadequate in its presence. If cars had feelings, the Q60 Concept could intimidate others out of a parking space and demand the right of way at an intersection.
While many automakers are defining their design with headlights and grills, Inifiniti is kicking it up a notch by adding a crest at the centre edge of the hood that echoes the peak of the Infiniti logo. This signature of excellence will be on every Infiniti model starting with the Q60 Concept.
What used to be a two-door version of the Q50 sedan, the Q60 has its own identity now. According to Infinity the Q60 design will differ from the Q50 that was introduced in 2014. The Coupe will be a premium, high performance sports car that evolved from the Q80 Inspiration. The automaker claims the production version will not be very different from the Concept, which is greatly appreciated. No release date has been set, but we’re sure and eager to see photos of the production version soon.
