Nissan Sway Concept vs. Nissan Versa Note
When Nissan introduced its flagship Sports Sedan Concept last year it showed us a glimpse into the future of design. The Concept included Nissan’s next-generation design cues like a “floating” roof, V-Motion front end, and rakish boomerang-shaped headlights and taillights. NIssan wants to give their upcoming vehicles an air of openness and motion.
We’ve already seen these design cues on the all-new Murano, and on the teased Maxima that will debut in New York. With the introduction of the Nissan Sway Concept at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show the carmaker has revealed how the company’s hatchbacks will incorporate the new design language. Despite being in concept form it’s probable that the next hatchback will include many of the exterior features such as, the grill, headlights, taillights, and overall shape.
When compared to the current Nissan Versa Note hatchback the Nissan Sway Concept is bolder and more aggressive. Exactly what the automaker needs to keep up with new models like the Mazda2. No word on when or if Nissan will turn this concept into production.
