When you see the name Saleen it’s usually stamped on american muscle cars like Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Dodge Challenger. Saleen takes these powerful street rods and adds custom styling and high-performance ingredients that embodies its racing heritage. Recently, CEO Steve Saleen gave his engineers a challenge like no other. For the first time in history they were tasked with modifying a sedan. But not just any sedan, the all-electric Tesla Model S, which is far from being a super car Saleen Automotive is used to tuning.
The challenge was accepted and the Saleen 4SIXTEEN was born. Under the hood the original 416HP electric engine was tweaked for faster acceleration. On the exterior Saleen 4SIXTEEN sports an aerodynamic fascia, rear spoiler, and 22-inch tires. Saleen focuses on performance not looks, which makes the 4SIXTEEN still recognizable as a Tesla Model S.
