It’s official, the all-new Hyundai Tucson will be unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The automaker also released a teaser sketch of the new crossover along with a video about its design. At quick glance the face on the sketch looks familiar. That’s because Hyundai has a Fuel Cell variant of the Tucson that wears a hexagonal-shaped grill, which has become the brands signature. But that’s not the first car that came to mind when looking at the sketch. The 2016 Tucson bares a resemblance to the redesigned 2015 Ford Edge that debuted last year. This coincidence is evidence how far Hyundai has come in terms of making their cars relevant and attractive. Judging from the teaser video the rest of the car is more edgy and aggressive compared to the current Tucson.

The Tucson’s biggest competitor, Honda CR-V received a facelift for 2015 while Toyota Rav4 and Ford Escape were both completely redesigned in 2013. Hyundai’s cousin from Kia is as old as the Tucson, meaning a redesigned Sportage should be arriving soon.
